Rocky Mountain Extreme met in Old City Park this holiday. There was live music, a jump house for the littlest ones, volley ball kept in play, tasty grub and a raffle to benefit Moab's local 4x4 club. Rocky Mountain Extreme appreciates the trail work undertaken by the local group.

The Annual Art Festival published an entertainment schedule of bands and other performers. A tent was dedicated to children with activities, puppet and magician shows. Rows of booths contained art of everything imaginable. There were exhibitions of landscape photography, amazing metal works, jewelry, pet bling, pottery, sewn items, wood work, soaps, chimes and yard art.

Campers flocked to Moab. Moab's information line began fielding camping dilemmas as early as Tuesday. Tweets essentially stated visitors intended to be in Moab, but had wound up in Green River or Monticello. The information staff kept a running log of last minute cancellations to inform the public. Please note for camping out far 'afield, visitors must carry out, what you carry in and have a portable toilet.
